Later this month a new wine brand industry will open a new wine tasting room at 1426 Main St. in St. Helena. It’s “Materra Cunat Premium Vineyards.” Brian Cunat is the owner of Materra Company and he was the former president of Kiwanis International.
Cunat Heitz believes that the construction will be completed in two years and hopes to clear the permitting process by spring of 2013.
Cunaz Heitz graduated from Arizona State University-Tempa. She studied wine evaluation at Napa Valley College. She has a good sense about wine as because she was the employee of BP Wine Merchants. Cunat Heitz ha
s no official title, because, she said, her father “is not a fan of titles.”She said that the target of production will be 10,000 to 13,000 cases including all varietals.
She also said “We definitely want to keep a relationship with the hotel for free tastings for its guests.”
